put music to our troubles and we'll dance them away
"To dance is to be out of yourself. Larger, more beautiful, more powerful." {Agnes De Mille}
In my house, we think it unwise to suppress ourselves. So whenever someone feels as though they're pent up or broken, we try and think of ways to productively rid ourselves of these feelings. Dancing has proven to be one of those ways. If you've walked by our house the past few nights, you've probably heard the speakers blaring, heavy basslines, warm chords, chick-empowered radio songs, and danceable drum beats. I am going to refrain from explaining what and why, but lately, we've been feelings LOTS of things . . . so we've been dancing A LOT.
You should join us.
I need to make the perfect dance playlist.
Can you help me?
"Please send me your last pair of shoes, worn out with dancing as you mentioned in your letter, so that I might have something to press against my heart. {Johann Wolfgang von Goethe}
(that was for my goof of a roommate EW, she's a nutcase who knows how to shake it, ha ha ha)

"a nutcase who knows how to shake it!" That's a PERFECT description of emmaline! We used to have dance parties in our house too... I wish we could combine houses...and the past and present... then we could all dance, learn, live, and love together.
"who knows how to shake it??" really trina!?? haha It's funny how we become more ourselves the more we set aside that part of our self that thinks about our self....meaning...hahah the less self-concious we are the more ourselves we become
